With iPhones that do include a Home button, such as the iPhone SE, press the Home button and right side button at the same time. You can then tap on that preview and edit the screenshot as needed. You’ll hear a shutter noise if your sound is on, and you’ll see a small preview of the screenshot in the lower-left corner of the screen. If you own a recent iPhone without a physical Home button, you can capture a screenshot by pressing volume up and the right side button at the same time.
